To improve performance, Callaway redesigned the 2022 MAVRIK with new VFT architecture and face to offer optimum speed and spin to deliver more performance. This is achieved by using high strength steel which is super strong and resilient at impact to expand speed along the clubface.

These proven technologies essentially change the way the head and face behaves at impact to deliver more ball speed and distance. Jailbreak is 2 strong titanium bars behind the face, parallel to each other and connected on either end to the crown and sole. The size, strength and location of each Jailbreak bar work together to reduce how much the crown and sole deflect, forcing the face to take on more of the load created at impact than ever before.

Combined with an enhanced Face Cup that results in faster ball speeds across the entire face offering more consistent distances, even on miss-hit shots.

The MAVRIK features a mid-sized head with a square toe and justified scoring lines analogous to the face of an iron. It offers the ideal combination of speed, stability and CG placement to promote an easy launch, long carry and soft landings. Exactly how a hybrid is expected to perform.
